Plagiarism Policy

The Journal of Climate Change and Environmental Coordination (JCCEC) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity and publication ethics. All submitted manuscripts must be the original work of the authors and free from any form of plagiarism.

Plagiarism Screening

Every manuscript submitted to JCCEC is checked for plagiarism using reliable similarity detection software before the peer review process.
Manuscripts showing significant similarity with previously published work (without proper citation) will be returned to the authors for revision or rejected based on severity.

Unacceptable Practices Include:

  • Copying text, data, tables, or figures without proper citation

  • Self-plagiarism (reusing previously published work without disclosure)

  • Paraphrasing without credit to the original source

  • Submitting a manuscript that has been published elsewhere

Allowed Similarity Threshold

A similarity score of under 15% is generally acceptable, excluding references.
A similarity score above 25% will result in rejection or mandatory revision.

Duplicate and Multiple Submissions

Submitting the same manuscript to more than one journal at the same time is strictly prohibited. Manuscripts must be original and unpublished.

Consequences of Plagiarism

If plagiarism is detected at any stage (pre-review, review, or post-publication):

  • The manuscript may be rejected

  • If already published, the article will be retracted

  • Authors may be blacklisted from future submissions

Ethical Standards

The journal follows the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Authors are responsible for ensuring correct citation and acknowledgment of all sources.
