Aim & Scope
Aim
The Journal of Climate Change and Environmental Coordination (JCCEC) aims to serve as an international, interdisciplinary platform for cutting-edge research, insights and solutions at the intersection of climate change and environmental coordination. The journal seeks to advance scientific understanding, inform policy and facilitate collaborative action by publishing high-quality work that addresses the complex challenges posed by changing climate, ecosystem disruption and environmental governance.
Scope
JCCEC welcomes manuscripts including original research articles, systematic reviews, policy analyses, case studies, technical briefs, and short communications, in the broad field of climate change and environmental coordination. Contributions may cover but are not limited to the following topics:
-
Climate change impacts, vulnerability assessment and adaptation strategies (e.g., for ecosystems, agriculture, water, infrastructure)
-
Climate change mitigation, carbon management, emissions reduction and low-carbon transitions
-
Environmental coordination and governance: multi-sectoral, multilevel collaboration (government, private sector, communities) in climate & environment management
-
Ecosystem services, biodiversity, land-use change and the linkage with climate dynamics
-
Environmental monitoring, modelling, data integration and decision-support systems for climate-environment challenges
-
Sustainable development, resilience, circular economy and climate–environment policy frameworks
-
Climate justice, socio-economic dimensions, behavioural and institutional responses to environmental change
-
Technological innovation, green infrastructure, climate-smart agriculture, water security, and climate-resilient urban/rural planning
-
Case studies and lessons learned from coordination interventions at local, regional or global levels addressing climate and environmental issues.
The journal encourages interdisciplinary and international collaboration that integrates earth sciences, environmental science, social science, policy, engineering, and management. Manuscripts that bridge theory, practice and policy and contribute to actionable knowledge for environmental coordination in the face of climate change are especially welcomed.
