Archiving Policy

The Journal of Climate Change and Environmental Coordination (JCCEC) is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation, accessibility, and integrity of all published content. To maintain a permanent scholarly record, JCCEC employs multiple digital archiving strategies and trusted preservation networks.

Digital Preservation

All published articles are securely archived within the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform. Regular backups are maintained on protected servers to prevent data loss due to technical failures, cyber security issues, or system outages.

PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN)

JCCEC participates in the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), which provides decentralized, secure, and long-term preservation of journal content. This ensures continued access and availability even in the event of technical disruptions or platform changes.

Institutional and Third-Party Repositories

Authors are encouraged to self-archive the final published version (PDF) of their articles in:

• Institutional repositories

• National and international research repositories

• Subject-based archives (e.g., Zenodo, ResearchGate, Academia.edu)

• Personal or professional websites

Proper citation and DOI linking to the original article must be included.

Metadata Indexing

Complete metadata for all articles is stored and indexed in recognized scholarly databases and search engines. This ensures citation tracking, discoverability, and global academic visibility.

Accessibility Commitment

JCCEC maintains a full open-access policy. All archived content remains freely accessible to readers worldwide without subscription or login barriers, supporting broader dissemination of research on climate change and environmental sustainability.
