Peer Review Policy

The Journal of Climate Change and Environmental Coordination (JCCEC) follows a rigorous and transparent double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality, originality, and academic integrity of all published manuscripts. Both the reviewers and the authors remain anonymous throughout the review cycle.

Initial Screening

Upon submission, each manuscript undergoes an initial editorial assessment to ensure:

  • Relevance to the journal’s scope

  • Originality and academic quality

  • Adherence to ethical standards

  • Compliance with journal formatting guidelines

Manuscripts that do not meet basic requirements may be returned to authors for revision or declined.

Double-Blind Peer Review

Manuscripts that pass initial screening are assigned to two or more independent expert reviewers.
Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on:

  • Scientific validity and research rigor

  • Contribution to climate change and environmental research

  • Clarity, coherence, and methodological soundness

  • Proper use of data, citations, and ethical considerations

Reviewer identities are not disclosed to authors, and author identities are hidden from reviewers.

Editorial Decision

Based on reviewer recommendations, the editorial office will make one of the following decisions:

  • Accept

  • Minor Revision

  • Major Revision

  • Reject

Revisions must address reviewer feedback thoroughly. Revised manuscripts may undergo additional review rounds before final acceptance.

Conflict of Interest

Reviewers and editors are required to disclose any conflict of interest and must decline to review manuscripts where such conflicts exist to maintain objectivity and fairness.

Review Timeline

The journal aims to complete the peer review process within 4–8 weeks, depending on reviewer availability and manuscript complexity.

Publication Ethics

The journal adheres to the ethical guidelines of COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics). Any form of plagiarism, data manipulation, or academic misconduct will result in rejection or retraction.
