Abstract

Ecosystem services play a vital role in maintaining environmental health and supporting the sustainable development of communities globally. With the acceleration of landuse changes due to human activities, the pressure on ecosystems has increased, leading to a loss in biodiversity and a shift in ecosystem functions. This paper aims to explore the interrelationship between ecosystem services, land-use change, and climate dynamics, focusing on the role of sustainable land management practices in promoting environmental protection. Through examining key factors such as deforestation, urbanization, agricultural expansion, and climate change, this study highlights how land-use policies can affect the ecosystem services that sustain human well-being. The research calls for integrated approaches to mitigate the negative effects of land-use change on ecosystem functions and stresses the importance of preserving biodiversity through adaptive land-use strategies .
